Wedding Work

Ok. I must first admit that I eloped.  I didn't have a big wedding.  I am not one to go weak in the knees over a dress of any kind.  Now, I do like a big ole slice of tasty cake for any occasion.  By profession I would not describe myself as a wedding photographer.  I love everyday life.  Simple, ordinary life.

HOWEVER, I just shot a wedding as the primary photographer and I am suprised to report I found it fun,  exciting, beautiful and touching beyond words.  I'm still glad I eloped but I see why people do it.  A day for family, friends, food, laughter and tears.  WOW, all that in one day and there is CAKE too!  COOL!

So, here is what I learned from this I would like to share with you.  Maybe there is something out there you aren't sure about.  Something you're not sure you'll be good at, something that doesn't ignite the core of your being.  I learned that it's worth giving it a try because you just might find that there is room in your heart for suprises in your life.  Wedding photography, bungee jumping or chess you just never know so go on give it a try and then you'll know for sure!
